Warm-Weather Saltwater Fly-Fishing Adventures

Our popular Lowcountry Saltwater Fishing School in Beaufort, South Carolina is a three-day warm-weather adventure with a day of instruction by Orvis-endorsed guide Tuck Scott, followed by two days flats fishing for redfish, speckled sea trout, or cobia. This trip is just a start. If you want new or sharpened knowledge in fly-casting techniques, tackle and fly selection, knot tying, hook setting, and fish-fighting skills, browse any of our saltwater fly-fishing schools.

We’re proud to offer warm-weather fly-fishing schools and adventure trips targeting coveted saltwater species on the East Coast and in the angling paradise of Belize. Stateside, enroll in the Everglades Saltwater School with accommodations at historic Islander Resort in Islamorada, Florida. Enjoy one day of instruction and two days of guided fishing, casting to tarpon, redfish, or snook using premium Orvis equipment. We also include a one-day school in Key Largo, an excellent introduction to saltwater fly fishing for the novice.

In the Caribbean, we offer several Belizean warm-weather saltwater packages with beachfront accommodations at El Pescador Lodge, a few miles north of San Pedro on the island of Ambergris Caye. Choose the Belize Bonefish Bonanza and enjoy three days of memorable saltwater fly fishing with a small group of anglers, casting to bonefish, tarpon, or permit on 400 square miles of flats. We also offer a women’s-only fly-fishing trip for all skill levels. Go for the saltwater ‘grand slam’—netting bonefish, tarpon, and permit in a single trip—with the knowledge and technique you garner at our week-long Belize Grand Slam Fly-Fishing School.

If you want to cast specifically to permit (with opportunities to target other saltwater species), join us for Permit Palooza and experience a group warm-weather adventure with accommodations at Blue Horizon Lodge, casting around a chain of small cayes within the Belize Barrier Reef. Farther inland, luxury accommodations await you at Copal Tree Lodge in Belize, with spectacular warm-weather catch-and-release fly casting in the Gulf of Honduras. Our guides know how to put you on these coveted saltwater species.
